Please reach out if you cannot find an answer to your question.
I primarily work with adults (18+) individually. At this time, I also work with teens with autism. If you would like to work with me and you have a specific situation I don't mention here, just reach out and ask.
Absolutely. I always start with a complimentary 15-minute video consultation. This gives us a chance to discuss what brings you to therapy, answer your questions, and see if we're a good fit. There's no obligation and it's a low-pressure way to get started.
My clients think so! I've even had clients who started with me on Telehealth and have already graduated. Online therapy is proven to be just as effective as in-person for most concerns, especially individual adult work.
As an intern in private practice, that's all I can offer for now. Once I'm licensed, I'll consider in-person options as well!
I require 24 hours notice for appointment changes. Sessions canceled with less notice are charged in full. This policy helps me maintain availability for all my clients.
Yes! With a few legal exceptions of course (imminent harm to self or others, abuse of a child/elder/vulnerable adult, or court order). As a private pay practice, no insurance or third party reviews your records.
Typical sessions are 50-55 minutes long. Most clients start with weekly sessions, then shift to biweekly or as-needed as they progress. The length of therapy varies - some people benefit from a few months of focused work, while deeper trauma can take longer. We'll regularly check in on your progress and adjust together. I remind my clients that therapy is voluntary.
Our first session is usually about your history, reasons for starting therapy, and your goals. You can share as little or as much as you want. We'll also discuss how therapy works with me and we'll start crafting a plan that feels right for you. Many clients feel a sense of relief just from getting started.
Private pay allows me to provide the highest quality, most personalized care while giving you greater freedom and privacy in your therapeutic journey.
Here's why this model benefits you:
If cost is a concern, ask me about Open Path Collective.
My current rate is $130 / 55-minute session as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. This is often lower than fully licensed therapists while still providing high-quality, supervised care. I can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement if your insurance offers it.
Message me for a complimentary 15-minute video consultation. Mention some days and times that you are typically available and I'll reply with some options.
Yep! I use a HIPAA-compliant platform called TherapyNotes.
Teletherapy offers convenience, privacy from home or the office, and easy access no matter where you are in Florida.
